Other interests

I enjoy taking pictures of mostly everything, from macrophotography to astrophotography. Below are some (low-res versions of) pictures I took across the years roughly sorted by the size of whatever appears in them

I also enjoy designing and printing custom posters/digital art, such as the one on the right that shows roughly where I am from in a stylized one-line map of the Mediterranean Sea. I try to use my graphic design skills in my research to convey my research findings in figures as well!
